March 2020 - present

UX Writer and Content Strategist, Lavari Jewelers

  • Developed and maintained a new, consistent brand identity for an emerging jewelry brand by writing new copy and editing existing copy.

  • Initiated/ executed UX projects: a personality quiz, chatbot flows, a purchase flow.

  • Planned/ conducted usability tests, user interviews to target pain points.

  • Identified competitors for competitive analysis in social media and site UX.

  • Raised SEO conversion rates by 60% in first three months of work; in January 2021 the brand outperformed its entire Q1 from 2020 in engagement & revenue.

  • As a passion project, published 2-3 articles on queer literature and culture per week, taking pieces from pitches through the drafting process and promoting through social media and SEO.

  • Used SEO, social media strategy, and a website redesign to nearly double traffic upon taking the helm in August 2019—from 600 up to 1000 unique visitors per month.
